PEACH CRISP, FRESH One of my favorite end-of-summer delights is fresh peaches, which you can use in this simple no-bake dessert or baked into a crisp or (faux) cobbler.
With only a few simple ingredients, this fresh peach crisp recipe comes together quickly in about an hour. Instead of waiting for it to cool, add the ice cream while it’s still hot!

WHAT SETS PEACH COBBLER AND PEACH CRISP APART FROM EACH OTHER? What makes cobblers and crisps different from other popular baked fruit desserts?
The fruit in cobbler typically includes a biscuit- or cake-like component. Because it has flavors and textures similar to peach cobbler, we refer to our peach dump cake as a false cobbler. However, using a cake mix is a cheater cobbler tip that makes it much simpler to create!

On the other hand, a fruit crisp generally tops the fruit with butter, flour, and oats for a harder, crispier texture. Thus, crisp was given.

How to get fresh peaches ready for peach crisp
Slice and peel peaches. Lemon juice is added; stir. Toss the sugar into the peach slices to coat them.

Prepare the cinnamon and oat crumble topping while the sugar is sweetening the peaches.
Brown sugar, flour, quick oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg should all be combined. Once the mixture is crumbly, add the butter and stir again.

After draining any additional juice, place the peaches in a greased pan. After that, evenly distribute the oat crumble topping over the top.

Bake, then eat warm with ice cream on top!
