For this delectable chili rellenos casserole, only a few ingredients are required. The dish is ideal for serving at brunch, lunch, or dinner. Your family or friends will almost always request seconds, whatever the occasion (and maybe even thirds). Looks good, doesn’t it?

The layers of this casserole dish are its secret. Green chilies form the base of the dish. The layer of cheese should then be added, and the milk-egg mixture should then be poured on top. The casserole needs 40 minutes of cooking. Add the medium salsa layer last, and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

If you’re fortunate enough to have any leftover casserole, it’s a terrific second supper the following day. For the top garnish and to add some more flavor, save some chopped cilantro and green onion. Use mild green chilies and mild salsa for individuals who want less hot food. Fiery green chiles and hot salsa can turn up the heat.

We will never refuse a nice dish. The adaptable and delectable flavor of this recipe is unbeatable. Ready to try our casserole with chili rellenos? Look at the ingredients and directions listed below. Comment below and let us know how you liked the recipe!
