No of the season, stuffed bell peppers make a great supper. They are not only a tasty substitute for pasta-based recipes, but they are also flavorful and varied in texture. For variety and to keep the dish fresh, we like to add both red and green bell peppers.
In a pinch, dried onion can be used in place of the raw onion used in the filling for the stuffed bell peppers. Ground turkey can be used instead of ground beef. Additionally, instant rice expedites the assembly process.
The ketchup sauce must be added before baking the filled bell peppers. You definitely don’t want to skip that step! Simply omit the Tabasco sauce from the ketchup mixture if your family doesn’t enjoy spicy food. Even while a dash doesn’t add much heat, it still might be too much for some who like milder foods.
