Making your own wonton strips is a requirement of the oriental chicken salad dish. However, you can often get pre-made wontons at your neighborhood grocery shop if you need to save a little bit of time. In a pinch, chow mein noodles will do. The salad dressing is the same way. With our recipe, you may quickly make your own or buy your preferred store-bought Asian salad dressing.

for ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD INGREDIENTS several chicken breasts Uncountable heads of lettuce 3 onions green 4 ounces of roasted almonds in slices 1/3 of a package of wonton skins DRESSING A half-cup of olive oil 1/fourth cup sugar Apple cider vinegar, 6 tablespoons 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon salt INSTRUCTIONS Cut the cooked chicken into strips or cubes. Chop green onions and lettuce. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, lettuce, green onions, and slivered almonds. Wonton skin should be cut into 3/4″-wide strips, fried in oil, and then placed on paper towels. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the salad dressing and whisk well.
