You may make a delicious appetizer with the combination of just a few items. Because light cream cheese is used in the dish, there are fewer calories overall. If there are any vegetarians in your group, you may even use spinach in place of the ham or sausage.

Use an large baking dish with sides (affiliate link) to prevent your mushrooms from falling off or rolling about while baking. Baking will cause liquid to gather. Before serving your mushrooms, make sure to gently drain the extra liquid.

0 INGREDIENTS Large stuffed mushrooms, 12 oz. Light cream cheese, 6 ounces A quarter cup of breadcrumbs 1 egg 1/2 cup prepared sausage or sliced ham a half-cup of parsley flakes grated cheddar cheese, half a cup mozzarella cheese INSTRUCTIONS Wash the mushrooms, then cut off the stems. Put the cap up in a big baking pan (with sides). Slice the stems thinly and sauté them in a skillet. In a microwave-safe bowl, soften cream cheese just a little. Combine all ingredients except parmesan cheese with the sautéed stems. Add a few more bread crumbs if the mixture is too liquidy, being careful not to make it stiff. Fill the mushroom caps on a mound. Add a sprinkle of parmesan. Bake mushrooms for 12 to 18 minutes at 400 degrees until golden. Carefully drain the juice, then serve. EVEN TASTIER RECIPES TO TRY:
