Yesterday was spent organizing my summer, signing up the kids for a few camps, and making plans for a few quick getaways. This past week, I took my son, who is 11 years old, to see Alton Brown’s Eat Your Science show in San Francisco. If you’re a fan, I definitely recommend it! Alton recently unveiled a number of more dates across the nation, which we absolutely enjoyed.

Since the flooring contractors are coming on Wednesday to lay new hardwood floors upstairs (yay!) to replace the old carpet, I’m moving all the furniture out of the master bedroom this weekend. For years, I’ve been waiting to do this, and now it’s actually happening! I can’t wait until they’re finished since I’ll be updating the look of my master bedroom as well. Of course, I’ll post the final outcomes here!
