The ideal decadent breakfast to share with friends and family is these chocolate berry doughnuts.
I love combining flavors; my favorite combos are berries and chocolate, coconut and cream, and peanut butter and jelly. Therefore, it goes without saying that I always hunt for recipes that blend strong flavors. And breakfasts do not deviate from this generalization.
One of our favorite breakfast recipes for our family is these chocolate berry doughnuts. They are warm and welcoming while combining all the familiar and beloved ingredients.
They are also a tremendous hit with the public, so we frequently find ourselves preparing them for visitors who are staying overnight or for small brunch gatherings.
To be entirely honest with you, I often sneak chocolate berry doughnuts for snacks and desserts because any occasion is a fantastic excuse to eat them.
A hot chocolate bar is my go-to option! You can also quickly prepare a batch of them and serve them on a festively adorned table with cookies and drinks. The outcome is gorgeous visually as well (I promise! But it’s also a really enjoyable departure from the standard savory food bar, and your guests will love it.
Regarding the berries, I like to use frozen ones so that this recipe is suitable all year round. While I like to combine things by using raspberries and strawberries, you may use either one. Feel free to use add blueberries or even peaches, and not just in the glaze but also in the batter! These Chocolate Berry Donuts are fantastic because they are an excellent basic recipe that you can subsequently modify with different fruits and additions.
