Hello, my friends, and a very happy holiday to you! The previous 48 hours have been so enjoyable! We had a seafood meal together last night in Sausalito while taking in the view of the San Francisco Bay and urban landscape. Christmas morning is always happy as family members receive thoughtful gifts. Today, my best friend and I are going on a long walk, and this evening, we’re going to a neighborhood restaurant owned by a friend, where we celebrate Christmas dinner.

Despite the struggles I had due to the terrible wildfires and some of my friends’ challenging medical diagnoses, 2017 was nonetheless a fantastic year. However, as I reflect on the year, I make a point of highlighting the enjoyable moments, laughing, travels, and recollections. I’m taking a vacation this week to unwind with friends and get ready for 2018. I’m wishing you everyone a very happy last week of the year.
