Post a Recipe We love DIY projects and home design at Remodelaholic, but we also adore recipes. We want to start sharing some seriously delicious recipes once a week in addition to continuing to highlight our most recent and greatest remodeling efforts. We’re still remodelaholics, so enjoy the recipes and remember that.

I have two predictions for this time of year: first, it’s time to break out the scarves and riding boots, and second, it’s time to create a new batch of Honeycrisp Cranberry Cider.

Seriously, my friends, you don’t need anything else to prepare this drink. First of all, it is very amazing—I mean, so great that you won’t want to drink anything else until March. Second, even though it requires some time to cook, the amount of hands-on time is actually rather minimal. And lastly, the aroma that emanates from your home when you are cooking is the finest!

Actually, that aroma is superior to any candle, so I would adore it if we could somehow bottle it! I actually prefer to make this ahead of a party since it fosters a warm and comfortable atmosphere and I get fresh handmade cider.

But let’s get back to the honeycrisp cranberry cider itself. We’re going to use some classic autumn and winter ingredients in this dish, so consider fresh apples, some cranberries, some oranges, lemon slices, and as many spices as you prefer. Despite the fact that most ciders don’t call for lemon, I adore the subtle twist and way it counters the spice.

To make it spicier, I like to add cardamom, clove, cinnamon, and spices. Because, in my opinion, there is nothing more calming on a chilly day than a spicy drink.

In addition, you can use dried or fresh cranberries, depending on what you have on hand. Two rosemary sprigs are another ingredient I like to include since they give the honeycrisp cranberry cider a lovely taste boost.

When serving it, I prefer to use small glasses and garnish with a few additional apple, lemon, and rosemary pieces.
