My friends, spring is on its way! For that reason, March always makes me joyful. This week, I added a few more green plants to my collection because I strongly think that every room should have a living item. I now have them spread throughout my home.

It’s a learning process, but I simply keep moving them to find out where each of my tiny green companions is happiest. Some of them fare better in filtered light, while others flourish in direct sunlight.

I purchased a couple planters from CB2 last spring, including the basket planter and ceramic trio (seen above) as well as this marbleized planter that houses an orchid in my bathroom. (They are still available at CB2, and I highly recommend buying one for yourself.) I’ll probably purchase a few more as my collection of plants expands. Thank goodness there are so many attractive choices.
