Every time I travel, I do this to myself. I pack my laptop with the purpose of posting, but I become distracted by my surroundings and never open it. That’s probably healthy; after all, traveling should be fun without worrying about business. Still, it bothers me. I promise myself that I’ll work on the flight home, but as soon as I see the movies I haven’t seen yet, I put my work aside once more to watch them.
Anyway, I just got back from an incredible trip to Austin, and I’ll shortly share some photos. I got the idea for today’s piece while browsing Pinterest on the way home. How many people out there still want to add a little bit of pattern to their homes but are afraid the print would be too bold in a big room?
Pantries and powder rooms are excellent choices as well because they are smaller spaces by definition. Also take into account unexpected locations! Consider niches, inside frames, inside dresser drawers, or behind shelves. These concepts could encourage you to add a little bit of pattern to your life.
Detachable wall murals
Try it out because it’s less of a commitment with the detachable wallpapers!
