If you read my piece about the spring essentials earlier this year, you already know that two of my goals for 2018 are to fix my hair more frequently and stop sleeping in my pajamas so much. I’ve been doing better on both counts, which has prompted me to add a few new items to my wardrobe each season. I’m always on the search for wardrobe items that fit the bill since having incredibly comfy and vibrant options to wear is the only way I’m going to get dressed in actual clothing every day.

Once more, my college best buddy, who is far more stylish and up to date than I am, assisted me in choosing some of these adorable Summer outfits to share with you. Check out our selection of essential Summer apparel, footwear, and accessories! There are choices for every price range.

TO ADD TO YOUR WARDROBE: PRETTY SUMMER CLOTHES Beautiful Summer Tops

The most of the time, I dress down with plain t-shirts and tank tops and accessorize with simple summer jewelry (see my picks later in this post). However, I also like to have some lovely Summer clothes available for things like dinners out. My favorite item is that flutter-sleeved top with stripes.

Even now, a summer maxi dress is my absolute favorite. They are just as comfortable as wearing jammies, and they are adorable. For me, that’s a complete victory.

Even while I adore maxi dresses, there are times when the heat demands a little extra ventilation. These summer dress alternatives in shorter lengths are fantastic.

Yet another admission I almost always wear denim shorts when I’m wearing them. And according to my husband, I have way too many pairs of them in my wardrobe. But to be fair, I do wear them all (and have included 2 of my personal favorites that I wear all the time below).

In the summer, we spend a lot of time at the pool in our neighborhood. Our children love it, and now that they’re old enough, we can actually relax while they swim. It provides them with hours of fun and exercise. It’s incredible. However, I don’t enjoy baking in the sun. I am the person you will see on the pool deck hiding in a coverup behind a canopy. I am in love with these cover-ups this summer. I have two maxi coverups, and they are perfect for anything (they even have pockets).

I haven’t worn nice shoes much since I stopped practicing law, but I enjoy these options for summer when ultra-casual footwear just won’t do.

All of these choices are MY JAM. I typically only wear flip flops and Birkenstocks in the Summer, but after damaging my Birkenstocks at the pool last year, I invested in a pair of waterproof silver and pink Birkenstocks (see below), and I anticipate wearing them the most of the time this year. In person, they are more cuter.

Bright and enjoyable jewelry is required for summer! These selections are on point in every way. I must put that rainbow necklace around my neck as soon as possible.
