Happy summer weekend, dear friends. I’ve been keeping myself busy this past week by fitting in extra exercise classes, trying a new art project, putting together cabinets for my DIY desk idea, and taking pictures of a client’s kitchen that I helped create in my capacity as her design consultant. This week, I’ll be able to share that transformed space with you.

In entertainment news, I’ve just started watching Season 2 of The Paradise on Netflix, which I’ve been binge-watching. It’s a well-made BBC show with excellent characters and a compelling plot.

I’m also relishing the calm of late July, when the fan’s humming lulls me to sleep at night and the sun’s piercing rays wake me up rather than a shrill alarm clock. I’m relishing this wonderful period of time before the routine of the school schedule resumes. All too soon, the early morning rush will arrive.
