I hope everyone is enjoying the remaining days of their summer vacation. My kids are returning to school this week, and I couldn’t be happier because they’ve been acting so sluggish lately and need structure.

I made some headway on my DIY desk project yesterday, and today I’m taking plans to go out for some afternoon sparkling wine sampling at one of my favorite locations. The weather is quite warm and I haven’t been for months. I’m looking forward to a peaceful day in wine country now that the air quality has improved (wildfires have increased throughout the state).
