TRUFFLES WITH CHOCOLATE PISTACHIO Dessert recipe for chocolate pistachio truffles from Foodieaholic Ingredients dark chocolate chips, 3/4 cup organic soymilk creamer, 1/4 cup Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon little sea salt a serving of cocoa powder Pistachio kernels from Setton Farms, 1/4 cup, finely chopped 2 quartered Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites Instructions To simmer, add water to the bottom of a small pot or a double boiler until it is about halfway full. Place the top of the double boiler over the pot of water, or place a heat-resistant bowl over the pot of water. For around five minutes, melt the chocolate chips in. Add the chocolate powder, sea salt, vanilla essence, and soymilk creamer. Once the mixture is smooth, remove it from the heat. Mixture should be transferred to a bowl and refrigerated for two to eight hours. Choco mixture should be scooped out using a tablespoon. Place one piece of the Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites in the center of the truffle after rolling into balls. Enclose by rolling. Roll each truffle in ground pistachios in a shallow bowl until completely covered. Place in the refrigerator to firm up before serving. Makes 8 truffles, note
