SOUP WITH CREAM OF BROCCOLI Soup with cream of broccoli Soup recipe type Written by Foodieaholic Ingredients: 8 Servings frozen broccoli florets in one bag Frozen cauliflower florets in one bag 1 medium onion, diced finely 3 cans of Campbell’s Soup with Broccoli in It 1–2 cans of chicken stock Frozen peas in a half-bag pepper and salt as desired 2 cups water, a sour cream dollop, and grated cheddar Instructions Broccoli, cauliflower, water, and chicken broth should all be combined in a big pot. Bring to a boil. In the meantime, spray a little cooking spray in a small saute pan and sauté the onions until they are translucent and tender. Add the cream of broccoli soup and sautéed onion once the broccoli and cauliflower are tender. The mixture should be blended or processed in batches. (Pureeing is important because it provides the soup thickness because there is no thickening agent in this soup.) Bring the soup back to a simmer, stir in the peas, season with salt and pepper to taste, and then serve! Notes Individual portions can be frozen in Ziploc containers. Simply heat and defrost!
