This weekend, I’ll finish building shelves for my walk-in pantry, which is another DIY project I’m working on. I’m embarrassed to admit it, but for the past ten years I’ve been keeping my pantry supplies on inexpensive metal shelving systems. Now I’m finally addressing the issue that has been pleading for my attention. Oh, the guilt. When everything is finished, of course I’ll reveal the outcome!
Now that autumn has arrived, aren’t the vibrant fall leaves making this brief season so lovely? I don’t like to decorate the house for Halloween; instead, I want to simply add hints of autumn. However, I do like how this idea for a mantel gathers a variety of items—think candles, vases, and faux DIY pumpkins—and spray-paints them matte black. Cheap, simple, and stylish!
