Cheers to the weekend! I’m participating in Chris from Just A Girl ‘s welcome home tour and front porch feature today. I was thrilled to participate after she invited numerous bloggers to showcase their porches and front entries.
This year, I’m drawn to the copper and rose gold colors. I enjoy combining metallics, and in the past, it was always an medley of silver and gold together, but lately, I’ve added more warm metal tones to the performance.

This year, I kept my porch fairly basic, adding just a new wreath and some twinkling lights to the potted plants that are there every day. I still adore the mid tone gray blue tint with my home’s pale yellow exterior that I painted the front door a few years ago in Benjamin Moore’s Knoxville Grey.
Although it doesn’t snow here in Northern California, it does rain a lot! All day it rained, but during a break I was able to take a few shots. Overstock sells the geometric indoor/outdoor rug .

The rose gold glass decorations and copper cowbells I found here were added to the flocked fresh evergreen wreath I bought from a nearby lot.

For a festive touch, I put decorations over the earth within each pot.

I always leave my keys and phone on the dresser that is right inside the door. A holiday vignette is on exhibit this month. A sneak peek at my since 2010 Christmas tree, which is heavily decorated.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Thank you for visiting; have a wonderful holiday weekend spent with family and friends.
