Yesterday was spent organizing my summer, signing up the kids for a few camps, and making plans for a few little vacations I’m taking. This past week, I took my 11-year-old kid to see Alton Brown’s Eat Your Science show in San Francisco. If you’re a fan, I wholeheartedly recommend it! Alton recently unveiled a number of more dates across the nation, which we absolutely enjoyed.

Since the flooring contractors are coming on Wednesday to lay new hardwood floors upstairs (yay!) to replace the outdated carpet, I’m moving all the furniture out of the master bedroom this weekend. This is finally occurring after years of anticipation! I can’t wait until they’re finished since I’ll be updating the look of my master bedroom as well. Of course, I’ll post the final results here!
