WAFFLES WITH SWEET AND SPICY MAYO AND CHICKEN Waffles with chicken with sweet and sour mayo Written by Foodieaholic Ingredients 4 eggs 1/fourth cup heavy cream Cayenne pepper, 2 tablespoons, plus 1 teaspoon for the mayo sauce 1 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of black pepper, ground 2 cups of general-purpose flour cornstarch, one cup 1 teaspoon of salt one gallon of peanut oil for frying Eight chicken thighs 50 ml of mayonnaise maple syrup, two tablespoons Horseradish made in one teaspoon One-half teaspoon of dry mustard powder newly made waffles Instructions In a sizable bowl, combine the eggs, cream, cayenne, 1 tablespoon salt, and black pepper. Mix the flour, cornstarch, and 1 tablespoon salt in a paper bag. Shake the flour mixture to coat the chicken after dipping it into the beaten egg mixture. Do not stack the breaded chicken; instead, place it on a wire rack. 20 minutes of resting will help the coating adhere to the chicken. A deep fryer or large saucepan should have about 3 inches of oil heated to 375 degrees F. (190 degrees C). Fry chicken in small batches for 5 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown. Chicken should be removed and dried on paper towels. Keep heated in a low oven or set aside. {br} {br} Mayonnaise, maple syrup, horseradish, cayenne pepper, and mustard powder are whisked together to create the mayo. Serve with chicken and spoon over waffles.
