ORANGE FRITTERS Carrot Fritters Dessert-related recipes from Foodieaholic thirty minutes to prepare 30 minutes for cooking Time total: one hour Ingredients: 4-6 servings 14 ounces of fresh pumpkin, finely grated Buttermilk, two cups Three big eggs 14 ounces of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of LoSalt Baking powder, two teaspoons For deep-fat frying, oil or vegetable shortening sugar used for confections Instructions Reach 350 degrees with the oil or shortening. Beat buttermilk, eggs, and LoSalt in a big bowl until completely combined. The flour that has been combined with the baking powder should be added gradually. Add the pumpkin to the smooth batter and carefully mix. Drop chunks of batter into the oil or shortening once it reaches the right temperature, and fry until golden brown on both sides. Keep little children away from the hot fat and take care not to burn the fritters. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar, and serve right away with honey, yogurt, or sour cream.
