Happy summer weekend, dear friends. This past week, I managed to fit in additional exercise classes, try a new art project, assemble cabinets for my DIY desk idea, and take pictures of a client’s kitchen that I helped design as her design consultant. This week, I’ll be able to show you that area, which has seen a significant makeover.

In entertainment news, I’ve just started watching Season 2 of The Paradise on Netflix, which I’ve been binge-watching. A well-done BBC series with excellent characters and a compelling plot.

In addition, I’m relishing the calm of late July, when the fan’s humming lulls me to sleep at night and the sunlight peeking through the blinds wakes me up rather than a blaring alarm. I’m relishing this wonderful time of year before the grind of a school schedule again. All too soon, the early morning rush will arrive.
